RedSun: The first 2000 t/a of Chlorantraniliprole has been successfully produced

 On August 8, RedSun responded to investor concerns on the investor relations platform, saying that the company's first annual output of 2000 tons of Chlorantraniliprole has achieved smooth production in Chongqing Wanzhou base, with the advantages of the whole industry chain, technology leadership, registration certificate and sales channels, and through international trade, agricultural supply chain and other international and domestic channels for all-round, dimensional sales. At present, it is supplying to customers such as SINO-AGRO.

Previously, on April 29, 2023, Nanjing RedSun announced that Huazhou Pharmaceutical, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, had entered into a strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with SINO-AGRO, promising to supply 97% Chlorantraniliprole in 2023 with no less than 1,000 tons. If the actual purchase quantity of SINO-AGRO exceeds 20% of the planned amount, Huazhou Pharmaceutical shall try its best to meet its actual demand.

Chlorantraniliprole is the first insecticide in the new, high-efficiency and low-toxicity o-formylaminobenzamide compounds developed by DuPont (now Corteva). Since it was launched in 2007, Chlorantraniliprole has been characterized by wide insecticidal spectrum, many applied crops, high insecticidal activity, long efficacy period, low toxicity and good safety. At present, it has become the largest pesticide variety in the global market sales.
