Nortox launches three-in-one herbicide Arkeiro in Brazil to effectively control Glyphosate-resistant weeds

Nortox will introduce the three-in-one herbicide Arkeiro Nortox. The product is a combination of three active ingredients, Flumioxazin, Imazethapyr and chlorimuron-ethyl, in WG formulation, with a wide spectrum of action and selectivity for soybean crops, and was developed specifically for the control of difficult-to-manage weeds.

Weeds are present throughout Brazil's agricultural production system, with nearly 30 million hectares of soybean crops containing white weed. Studies conducted by Up Herb and others have shown that having up to two Digitaria insularis per square meter can reduce soybean crops by more than 15 percent. One to three plants per square meter can reduce crop yields by as much as 24% over the entire planting cycle.

Arkeiro Nortox provides precise weed control, distinguished by its absorption and contact effects and residual effects, as well as effective control of weeds resistant to glyphosate. The product is suitable for drying weeds before and after seedling and is specially registered for soybean crops. Biological targets include Conyza spp., Euphorbia heterophylla, Raphanus sativus, Richardia brasiliensis, and Spermacoce latifolia, Bidens pilosa and Amaranthus.

The product can be applied up to seven days before soybean sowing or through a planting/application system. In terms of dosage, the applied dose of the product must be 200 g/ha and the liquid dosage must be between 100 and 200 L/ha.
