UPL: the 50,000 t/a pesticide formulation project was started in Huaian

On October 18, UPL Jiangsu held a groundbreaking ceremony of annual production of 50,000 tons of pesticide formulation project. Sun Shubao, president of China Pesticide Industry Association, attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

Sun Shubao expressed at the groundbreaking ceremony that it is because of the scientific application of pesticides that we feed so many people in the world. The uncertainty affecting the pesticide industry is increasing, so as long as our agrochemical supply chain remains stable, it will add a stabilizing factor to the development of global uncertainty. Therefore, Sun stressed that the groundbreaking of the UPL Jiangsu project, which can increase the stability of the pesticide industry, is not only a major event for UPL, but also a happy event for China's pesticide industry.

After the integration of resources in recent years, UPL has invested and built factories in China again, and various measures have shown UPL's long-term layout in China. Mr. Sameer Tandon, President of UPL Asia, said that UPL, which has been deeply engaged in the Chinese market for decades, hopes to achieve deeper development in China through this project and bring China and India, two ancient civilizations with a long history, closer together. For the project itself, UPL provides not only agrochemical products, but also technical and personnel support. In particular, it is necessary to use the construction and promotion of UPL Jiangsu project to play a more role in the development of the industry. At the same time, emphasizing that the concept of safety first will run through the whole process of project construction, Mr. Sameer also said that UPL will further promote open agriculture, open heart and open business with an open mind, and pass UPL's technology, concept and sustainable care to customers and bring value to the entire industry. 

 The head of UPL Greater China, said that as of today, UPL has opened its 49th factory in the world. He stressed that it is through the UPL Jiangsu project that UPL aims to maximize the reach of UPL's products, services and value to farmers in China. At the same time, UPL will provide more products based on Chinese localization value and understanding to the Chinese market. Moreover, he also stressed that UPL Jiangsu, which will become a must-win project, will introduce more products and technologies of NPP biological solutions, and continue to pass on the concept of sustainable development of UPL to the industry and society
