Yongnong Ningxia: the project EIA of 27,000 t/a of Glufosinate ammonium technicals and intermediates, was re-accepted

 On October 18, Ningxia Yongnong 's new project with an annual output of 27,000 tons of efficient pesticide technicals and intermediates (re-submitted for approval) EIA acceptance was publicized on relevant websites.

Background for re-approval

The project of "Ningxia Yongnong's new annual production of 27,000 tons of highly efficient pesticide pesticide technicals and intermediates" obtained the registration Certificate for Enterprise Investment Projects in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region" on December 11, 2018 (Project code: 2018-640900-26-03-011332), conducted an environmental impact assessment in 2019 and obtained the approval document.

During the construction of the project, some changes occurred in the production process and pollution prevention measures:

 (1) the staging plan was adjusted, and the total production capacity remained unchanged. 

(2) Process adjustment of Glufosinate ammonium device and by-product program change. According to the process optimization adjustment and technological breakthrough in the production of Glufosinate ammonium in Yongnong (Shangyu), the production process has been adjusted, the esterification and hydrolysis processes have been added, and the by-product program has been changed. 

(3) Changes in hazardous waste generation and disposal methods. 

(4) Zero discharge of clean water. 

(5) Some waste gas treatment facilities process changes. 

(6) Strengthen the system of unorganized waste gas collection.

 The project was divided into three phases before and after the change, with a total capacity of 25000t/a methyldiester +20000t/a Glufosinate ammonium production plant
