Element Eight Secures $6M Funding and Reveals Key Leadership Appointments
Element Eight has successfully secured $6 million in funding through a SAFE round, propelling the company toward a new Series A Round with an impressive target of $6.25 million. This financial boost will accelerate the development and expansion of their potent skincare product line. Alongside this exciting development, Element Eight has introduced several strategic leadership appointments:

As the company rolls out its Series A offering it has joined Ohana & Co.'s incubation platform.
1. Jake Galtere has assumed the role of Chief Marketing Officer, bringing a wealth of experience from his recent position as Vice President of Marketing for Ralph Lauren and Azzaro Fragrances.
2. Kristi McCluer joins the team as Vice President of Global Sales and Education, offering over 15 years of experience in the luxury sales sector, with her most recent role in the L'Oréal Luxury Division.
3. Martin Brok will enhance the company's Business Advisory Board, leveraging his extensive global executive background, spanning more than 35 years in senior roles, including global CEO positions at Sephora, Nike, Starbucks, and The Coca-Cola Co.
As Element Eight launches its Series A offering, it has become part of Ohana & Co.'s incubation platform, a significant milestone for the company.
Jake Galtere expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Joining Element Eight was an easy decision. The brand has an extremely distinct DNA, from its origin in spine surgery to the multi-expert team who continue to innovate for the consumer. Importantly, the products really do work. I'm extremely excited to help bring this brand to market."
Kristi McCluer conveyed her excitement, saying, "I am thrilled to join Element Eight to advance the skincare industry. Our technology is unique and is proven through robust scientific research and clinical studies. I see a remarkable opportunity to empower customers and redefine the way we experience healthy skin."
Bradley Patt, the company chairman, highlighted the impressive funding composition, with 45% of the round contributed by surgeons, dermatologists, and PhD scientists, emphasizing the brand's strong scientific foundation. Additionally, 34% of the round came from private family offices experienced in beauty investing, and 14% resulted from enthusiastic participation by the management, employees, and members of the company's board of directors.
Founder and board member Gerard Camme underlined Element Eight's unique position in the skincare market, driven by Oath's innovative technology. He emphasized that the company is poised for continued innovation and broader accessibility as it responds to the evolving demands of the global skincare market.
