Wanhua Chemical Restructures
On November 29, the Meishan Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau plans to make an approval decision on the environmental impact assessment document of Sichuan Wanlu Industrial Co., Ltd.'s PVDF integrated project with an annual output of 20,000 tons and make it public.
Wanhua Chemical (Sichuan) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. It was established in July 2014 with a registered capital of RMB 100 million. Wanhua Company established the Wanhua Sichuan Industrial Park (a non-independent park, belonging to Wanhua Company’s industrial cluster in the park) in the west area of Meishan High-tech Industrial Park in Sichuan Province, and has successively implemented 250,000 tons of high-performance modified resin projects (production), biodegradable polyester project with an annual output of 60,000 tons (production), lithium battery ternary material project with an annual output of 10,000 tons (production), natural gas acetylene industry chain and park supporting public and auxiliary engineering projects (production), etc.
Relying on the acetylene resources reserved by Wanhua Company's "Natural Gas to Acetylene Industrial Chain and Park Supporting Public Engineering Project", Wanlu Company plans to invest 1.3 billion yuan to implement an integrated PVDF project with an annual output of 20,000 tons in Meishan High-tech Industrial Park. The land used for this project is the reserved industrial land rented by Wanhua Company in Wanhua Sichuan Industrial Park, and some public auxiliary facilities are based on existing projects and facilities under construction in Wanhua Sichuan Industrial Park.

Main construction content and scale: The construction content of this project includes a 20,000 tons/year PVDF device, a 30,000 tons/year R152a device, a 40,000 tons/year R142b device and its supporting public and auxiliary facilities; the operation time of the production device is 8,000 hours/year, it usually operated in four shifts and two shifts.
The project is constructed in two phases. The first phase has a production capacity of 10,000 tons/year of PVDF products, and the second phase has a production capacity of 10,000 tons/year of PVDF products.
