On May 24, during the 16th SNEC (2023) International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (Shanghai) Conference, TuV SuD (hereinafter referred to as "TuV SUD") issued the TuV SUD Announcement Material Certification Certificate based on the TuV SUD technical specification PPP 58208A for the polyurethane products for the composite bezel of PV modules of Wanhua Chemical. Wanhua Chemical has become the first enterprise in the world to obtain the TuV SUD certification of polyurethane announcement material for photovoltaic module composite frame.

TuV SUD carried out material mechanical properties test, substrate physical properties test, flame retardant grade test and heat resistance test for this polyurethane resin of Wanhua Chemical. The polyurethane material performed well in the whole test cycle and finally passed the test by TuV SUD.

 

It is known that on May 13, Wanhua Chemical announced the launch of the full-yarn polyurethane composite photovoltaic frame scheme, which comprehensively optimized the frame structure of the full-yarn scheme and provided the industry with a new polyurethane composite photovoltaic frame solution. The profile is made of ordinary glass fiber, and the bending modulus is more than 40GPa. When high modulus glass fiber is used, the bending modulus can reach more than 50GPa, and the increase in frame stiffness can significantly reduce the deformation of the photovoltaic module when it is subjected to load. The glass fiber is evenly distributed in the polyurethane resin, which ensures that the cooling shrinkage rate is consistent throughout the product and the homogeneity of the product is improved. The section is accurate and stable, which is convenient for subsequent precise cutting and processing. Under the whole yarn process, the position of the die core is controlled more accurately, the position of the die core is close to the cured area, and the deviation of the product wall thickness is less than 0.15mm; After the profile is assembled through the Angle code, the connection position has no steps and no gaps. The uniformly dispersed glass fiber can be quickly infiltrated by polyurethane, which supports the high-speed production of profiles. The manufacturing rate can reach more than 1m/min, and the straightness of continuous production profiles is ≤1mm/2m. The surface of the products is smooth and beautiful, which improves the overall decorative effect of the components.
