Wanhua Chemical PDH unit shut down for maintenance!

On August 22, Wanhua Chemical issued an announcement stating that according to the production process characteristics of chemical companies, in order to ensure the safe and effective operation of production equipment, according to the annual maintenance plan, the company's Yantai Industrial Park 750,000 tons/year PDH and other units have been shut down for maintenance since August 25, 2024, and the maintenance is expected to take about 45 days. This shutdown and maintenance is a routine maintenance according to the annual plan and will not affect the company's production and operations.

Wanhua Yantai's 750,000 tons/year PDH unit adopts the Uop process, mainly providing propylene raw materials for downstream products. In addition to this unit, Wanhua currently has multiple PDH units under construction, and the total production capacity is expected to reach 2.55 million tons/year after all are completed.
