Investment in China's Chemical Raw Materials and Chemical Products Manufacturing Industry Increased by 13.3% YOY from January to November
Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China on December 15 showed that from January to November, China’s fixed asset investment was 46,081.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%. Among them, investment in the manufacturing industry increased by 6.3%, 0.1 percentage point faster than the growth rate from January to October; investment in the manufacturing industry of chemical raw materials and chemical products increased by 13.3% year-on-year.
In terms of industries, the investment in the primary industry was 964.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.2%; the investment in the secondary industry was 14,695.9 billion yuan, an increase of 9.0%; the investment in the tertiary industry was 30,420.7 billion yuan, an increase of 0.3%.
In the secondary industry, industrial investment increased by 9.0% year-on-year. Among them, investment in the mining industry increased by 1.3%, and investment in electricity, heat, gas and the production and supply of water increased by 24.4%.
In the tertiary industry, infrastructure investment (excluding electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industries) increased by 5.8% year-on-year. Among them, investment in the railway transportation industry increased by 21.5%, investment in the water conservancy management industry increased by 5.2%, investment in the road transportation industry decreased by 0.2%, and investment in the public facilities management industry decreased by 2.5%.
In terms of regions, investment in the eastern region increased by 4.5% year-on-year, investment in the central region was the same as the same period last year, investment in the western region fell by 0.2%, and investment in the northeastern region fell by 2.4%.
In terms of registration types, the fixed asset investment of domestic enterprises increased by 3.2% year-on-year, the fixed asset investment of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises decreased by 2.1%, and the fixed asset investment of foreign enterprises decreased by 0.3%.
