Unilever chief brand officer departs, marketing reorganized

ECHEMI 2024-02-22

Aline Santos Farhat, Unilever's chief brand officer and chief equity, diversity and inclusion officer, will leave the British FMCG giant at the end of March after 35 years at the company.

According to a report published by Marketing Week, the global marketing team will now report to chief growth and marketing officer Esi Eggleston Bracey, while the global equity, diversity and inclusion team will report to human resources.

Santos did not give a reason for leaving. She revealed on her LinkedIn profile that she has yet to decide on her next move and is embracing "a leap into the unknown."

Santos says it has been a privilege to have a 35-year career with such a dynamic company, and she is beginning her next chapter and a new adventure.
