Sipcam Agro announces its entry into the Canadian market

Sipcam Agro has announced its entry into the Canadian market, aiming to bring North American proven formulations and lawn protection product experience to local farmers. Sipcam Agro is part of the privately held Italian company SiPCAM-Oxon, which has long been involved in the global pesticide sector.

Brent Marek, CEO of Sipcam Agro, said that entering the Canadian market is a key move for the company to expand its customer base and provide Canadian farmers with quality pesticide solutions. With extensive experience in crop, turf and ornamental plant protection, Sipcam Agro has multiple global technical suppliers and formulation plants in different countries to provide Canadian customers with a high-value product portfolio.

In addition, Sipcam Agro recently acquired Mississippi-headquartered Odom Industries, acquiring the company's Shubuta logistics center and industrial park assets in Waynesboro, Mississippi. With this move, Sipcam Agro has realized the integrated operation of the whole industrial chain, from synthesis to formulation and packaging, and can independently produce high-quality pesticide products. This acquisition and international expansion will enable Sipcam Agro to work closely with key customers in Canada.

Sipcam Oxon S.P.A. is an Italian company founded in 1946, with approximately 1,000 employees worldwide engaged in research on generic agrochemicals, biostimulants, biorationals, specialty fertilizers, chemical intermediates and seeds.
