German startup 4peoplewhocare chooses sustainable jars from Gerresheimer

ECHEMI 2024-03-06

German start-up 4peoplewhocare has selected Gerresheimer's latest sustainable packaging solutions, which include Gx Amsterdam glass jars with bio-based Forewood closures, for the launch of its innovative deodorant cream. The new cosmetics was unveiled at the Vivaness trade show in Nuremberg, Germany, from February 13 to 16, 2024, and will be available online and in selected stores by April 2024. 4peoplewhocare's decision highlights the growing interest in the cosmetics industry to learn more about sustainable packaging options.

"We are honored to be involved in this ground-breaking project with 4peoplewhocare," said Veronika Brucks, Senior Marketing Manager Europe, Gerresheimer Molded Glass. "The combination of glass containers and 100% bio-based caps made from Forewood material perfectly matches the sustainability philosophy behind this new cosmetic product."

100% organic, plastic-free formula and packaging

4peoplewhocare's deodorant cream is made from organic and natural ingredients and comes in a 100% recyclable glass jar, which contains at least 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) glass from Gerresheimer and comes with matching bio-based Forewood closures from Rezemo GmbH.
