Cyhalothrin was expanded to bitter gourd in China

Recently, 3% Cyhalothrin CS products were approved for expansion of registration.


The newly registered crops and control objects are bitter melon (protected area) Bactroceracucuribitae, it is recommended that in the young fruit stage of Bactroceracucuribitae of bitter melon and the early stage of Bactroceracucuribitae, with a dose of 4 ~ 5.5 ml/mu, about 50 kg of water, uniform spray application once, at most 1 time per season, and the safety interval is 5 days. This is the first time that Cyhalothrin has been registered on bitter melon in China, and it is also the first pyrethroid pesticide product registered on bitter melon in China. The original registered crop and control object of the product is Agrotisipsilon.

 

Previously, there were two pesticide products registered in China for the control of Bactroceracucuribitae on bitter pear, which were 0.1% Avermectin  GB concentrated bait from Great, and 5% Avermectin· Spinosad SC from Foshan Brightmart. The former was used by bait and the latter was used by spray.

 

GB 2763-2021 stipulates that the maximum residue limit standard of Cyhalothrin and Avermectin in bitter melon in China is 0.2mg /kg and 0.05mg /kg respectively, and the maximum residue limit standard of Spinosad in melon vegetables (including bitter melon) in China is 0.2mg /kg (temporary limit).
