OCSiAl's OEM of the graphene nanotube suspension production line in China has been officially put into production
Recently, OCSiAl revealed that its single-arm carbon nanotube aqueous dispersion production line at its Chinese OEM has been officially put into production. Currently, TUBALL™ COAT_E and TUBALL™ LATEX products have been stably produced, which will greatly meet the increased demand for their single-arm carbon nanotubes from users in Asia, Europe and the United States.
Based on TUBALL™ single-arm carbon nanotube technology, TUBALL™ COAT_E and TUBALL™ LATEX dispersions can provide material solutions for high-performance conductive coatings, suitable for epoxy, acrylic, polyester, polyurethane and latex as well as antistatic plastic product systems .
Low addition amount and easy dispersion are the unique advantages of TUBALL™'s single-arm carbon nanotubes, which allow users to produce products with better conductivity without making major adjustments to the formulation system and processing technology, and comply with the concept of sustainable development.
The key feature of carbon nanotubes is permanent and stable surface resistivity control of 105-108 Ohm/sq. Carbon nanotubes are extremely stable, their electrical conductivity is not affected by humidity and temperature, and they have excellent mechanical properties. After the product is formed, the carbon nanotubes will not release free carbon particles from the surface of the material. The color of the product is bright and the transparency can be as high as 90%. These excellent performances make single-arm carbon nanotubes the preferred solution for upgrading high-performance conductive coatings to sustainable development.
Ian Fellows, CEO of OCSiAl USA said, “Nanotube coatings have been heavily explored by global manufacturers. This demonstrates the product’s unparalleled added value and significantly simplified technical processes compared to traditional solutions. "
At present, single-arm carbon nanotubes have a wide range of application cases in the fields of polyurethane synthetic leather in automobile interiors, antistatic latex coatings for ESD protective clothing, PET protective film coatings, as well as touch screen gloves and antistatic thermoplastic products.
It is understood that the OEM of OCSiAl in Nanchang, China is Nanchang Xinsu Nanomaterials Co., Ltd. The factory is located in Xiaolan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province.
TUBALL™'s single-arm carbon nanotube aqueous dispersion production line project started construction in the second half of 2023, with a total investment of RMB 2.7 million. It uses a dissolution-homogenization-dispersion-filtration process to produce single-arm carbon, with a scale production capacity of 200 tons/year.
