Syngenta has partnered with Agriodor in France to develop a biopesticide against aphid of beet
Syngenta France and Agriodor have announced a collaboration to jointly develop innovative pheromone products for the fight against aphid of beet
The collaboration brings together the expertise of Syngenta, a leader in crop protection and biological solutions, and Agriodor, a plant-derived information compound company.
″Xavier Thevenot, Director of Innovation and Sustainability at Syngenta, said: "This collaboration is part of our belief in open innovation with innovative companies to accelerate the development of biocontrol solutions to the main problems facing French farmers. This cooperation will help to solve the major technical challenges of beet with an integrated approach."
Agriodor CEO Alain Thibault said: "This collaboration will provide an effective solution to help French sugar beet growers combat the problem of yellowing beet. This agreement with Syngenta is part of Agriodor's strategy to develop solutions to combat pests and then promote them with the help of a large organization for plant protection and biological Solutions.”
