Adama launches Forapro®, a new grain fungicide
Adama AG has announced the launch of Forapro®, a new grain fungicide, in Europe. The product has a broad spectrum sterilization and is suitable for a variety of crops, especially in the early growth of wheat - jointing stage for the prevention and control of all major diseases.
Forapro® contains two active ingredients, Prothioconazole and Fluquinconazole, and is applied to wheat and barley using Adama's unique Asorbital® formulation technology to effectively control early growth diseases such as powdery mildew, gibberellic disease and rust.
Forapro®, a binary combination of a unique formulation technology, can be applied at the jointing stage of wheat to provide excellent control over disease and infection until the booting stage. With the help of Asorbital® formulation technology, the leaves are more permeable, absorbed faster, and conductive, thus acting on the entire plant, while also preventing the degradation of the drug due to sunlight. Numerous tests have shown that Forapro® penetrates the cuticle of the leaf more rapidly than similar binary barrel blends.
