Syngenta's MIRAVIS® Plus, a new Pydiflumetofen cereal fungicide, is registered in the UK
Syngenta recently announced that its new grain fungicide MIRAVIS® Plus, which contains the SDHI active ingredient ADEPIDYN®(Pydiflumetofen), has been registered in the UK. It can be used in a wide range of arable crops including winter wheat, spring wheat and barley to effectively control wheat leaf blight, scab, net blotch of barley, leaf spot and barley leaf blotch. It also has significant control effect on DON mycotoxin.
On 3 April 2024, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) officially approved the active substance Pydiflumetofen; On April 5, the HSE authorized the fungicide MIRAVIS® Plus for use on a variety of arable crops and will be placed on the market alongside the triazol-based fungicide Prothioconazole.
ADEPIDYN® is registered and used in many wheat-growing countries around the world to significantly increase yields. Miravis is now the leading brand of fungicides in the Canadian market.
