Evonik adds Ancamine 2880 to curing agent portfolio

Evonik has added Ancamine 2880 to its curing agent portfolio to provide fast cure speeds and strong urethanization, water spot and chemical resistance for topcoat flooring applications.

This epoxy curing agent is fast curing, UV resistant, and has excellent mechanical properties, abrasion resistance and color stability throughout its service life.

Ancamine 2880 has low color and high gloss, making it ideal for flooring applications where superior surface appearance is required. In addition, the new low-viscosity curing agent launched by Evonik globally can be cured at room and low temperatures, is easy to apply, and its rapid hardness development makes early walking floors possible.
