EPS launches bio-based acrylic copolymer for wood coatings
Engineered Polymer Solutions (EPS) launches PC-Mull 815 for wood coatings. It is a bio-based acrylic copolymer used in high-performance furniture and wood finishes. It is available in the EMEIA market.
PC-Mull 815 is ideally suited as a topcoat and self-sealing resin in high-end interior wood 1K applications. This innovative bio-based polymer is designed to meet high chemical resistance requirements and provide anti-blocking properties. This ensures that the coated substrate will not be damaged when stacked.
Massimo Longoni, Senior Sales Manager EPS Europe said:"When formulating with PC-Mull 815, manufacturers can expect superior clarity, hardness, leveling, chemical resistance and blocking resistance. The polymer has been calculated to be up to 15% biobased. And extensive research was conducted to ensure its performance is comparable to 100% fossil-based products."
