Axalta enters the polyurethane wood coating market
Axalta launched its new polyurethane wood coating products, designed to protect and enhance the aesthetics of wood surfaces.
The increase in Imron's industrial wood product line marks Axalta's formal entry into the polyurethane wood coating market.
Dave Heflin, Axalta’s Vice President of Global Industrial Liquid Coatings, said: “The launch of another Imron industrial product with outstanding performance and expansion into this new market is an important milestone for Axalta. The Imron industrial brand has always represented High quality and high performance, and this is the new polyurethane wood coating products that customers will get. These high-quality, durable formaldehyde-free products have chemical and abrasion resistance. Customers can use a variety of spraying methods for spraying, and have excellent Drying and sanding time. Both our existing customers and new customers of the Imron industrial brand can be confident that they will use one of the most innovative, durable and sustainable products on the market today."
Imron industrial polyurethane products are built on an advanced technology platform, providing products with high-quality gloss, application and durability.
This new production line is designed for interior wooden surfaces and is usually used to decorate kitchen/bathroom cabinets, tables, chairs, office furniture, and architectural wood products.
