CNFA issued an initiative to standardize and actively maintain urea export order!

2024-04-24

In the recent legal inspection of urea export declaration, a large number of phenomena such as non-standard trade contracts and false inspection have seriously disrupted the order of urea export, promoted irrational market fluctuations, and were not conducive to the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.

In response to the call of the state on strengthening the supply and stable price of fertilizers, the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association issued the following proposals to all nitrogen fertilizer producers:

Standardize the signing of urea export trade contracts. To carry out real urea export trade, the export contract clearly includes advance payment, shipment date, destination port (destination country), subject matter, price, quantity and liability for breach of contract. The association will promptly organize the formulation of urea export international trade contract paradigm for the reference of enterprises in the industry.

Standardize urea export inspection behavior. After receiving the payment in advance from overseas customers, submit the legal inspection.

Standardize the management of urea export inspection goods. Before the legal inspection results are issued, the inspected goods shall remain in their original state and not move to ensure compliance with the legal provisions of the cargo certificate.

Standardize urea export declaration behavior. Arrange the export rhythm in advance, and ensure that the customs declaration is completed within 30 days after the issuance of the legal inspection voucher

Actively cooperate with the association and relevant parties to carry out verification and inspection activities related to urea real trade, take the initiative to report the chaos of urea export, and the association will provide it to relevant departments in a timely manner.

Take the initiative to withdraw recent applications for false inspection.
