BASF and Chinese Oriental Yuhong signed a memorandum of understanding to upgrade cooperation
BASF and Oriental Yuhong, a leading company in China's construction waterproofing industry, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Beijing. The two parties will further cooperate to jointly create more high-quality and sustainable construction solutions.
This cooperation is a comprehensive upgrade of the Joint Development Agreement (JDA) signed by the two parties in 2019. It is also an important measure for both parties to cultivate and develop new productive forces and conduct deeper, broader and higher-level cooperation.
BASF and Oriental Yuhong will launch a series of new cooperation to accelerate the implementation and promotion of new technologies and projects in waterproof materials, architectural coatings, thermal insulation materials and other fields.
"High-quality, sustainable materials and solutions are indispensable for the green transformation of the construction industry. "With BASF's unique insights into the construction industry and broad portfolio of innovative solutions, coupled with Oriental Yuhong's proven application technology and comprehensive capabilities in waterproofing solutions, I firmly believe that our two companies will further leverage our strengths and collective efforts to promote innovation and contribute to sustainable urban development."
Today, our industry faces both challenges and opportunities. This is a critical moment in history to hone our skills and realize our potential. BASF and Oriental Yuhong are highly aligned in the areas of innovation and sustainable development. The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding marks the beginning of our comprehensive cooperation to provide total system solutions for the construction sector to meet customer needs in terms of quality, efficiency and sustainability. " said Xiang Jinming, Vice Chairman and President of Overseas Strategic Development of Oriental Yuhong.
