Eurofragance expands presence in India with new creative hub in Mumbai

The Spanish fragrance house continues its global expansion with the opening of a new creative center in Mumbai, India, aiming to strengthen its presence in the fast-growing country with a deep-rooted fragrance culture and a rapidly expanding middle class with continuously strengthen purchasing power. According to Eurofragance, this rapidly growing fragrance market stimulates demand for quality products and innovative solutions.

 

"We recognize the tremendous opportunities presented by India's booming market. In fact, actual operations began in 2020; since then, we have experienced exponential growth, with a significant acceleration post-pandemic. This strategic move underscores our commitment to seizing growth opportunities in dynamic economies and solidifies our position as a global leader in fragrance innovation." emphasizes Laurent Mercier, CEO of Eurofragance.

 

The new creative hub complements Eurofragance’s four existing creative hubs in Singapore, Dubai, Mexico and Spain.

 

"This strategic move further reduces project turnaround times, which will benefit our clients." The new creative hub in Mumbai will work closely with its counterpart in Dubai, leveraging the latter’s expertise in Gulf fragrances.

In parallel with the opening event, a team of Eurofragance experts from different subsidiaries are exploring the plantations where the most unique ingredients in Middle Eastern fragrances are produced. "These field trips represent further investment in a better understanding of Indian culture, traditions and habits," the company concluded.
