- The core active ingredient Pyrethrin is derived from the natural plant essence extracted from the Pyrethrum Dalmatian. It is one of the least toxic ingredients of existing insecticides. It can be naturally degraded and is friendly to people
- Use enhanced formulation technology and upgrade quantitative valve packaging
On May 23, 2024, the Pest Control product line of BASF's Agricultural Solutions business unit launched a new home pest control product: insecticidal AE. The product can effectively solve a variety of indoor pest problems, the core active ingredients from nature, friendly between pet and people .
The core active ingredient of BASF insecticidal aerosol, Pyrethrin, is derived from the natural plant essence extracted from Pyrethrum Dalmatian, which can be quickly and naturally degraded into water and carbon dioxide under the action of light or air, so that there is no residue after use. At the same time, pyrethrin is very toxic to mammals and is one of the least toxic components of existing pesticides. The Pyrethrin used in AE is extracted from (Yunnan)Pyrethrum Dalmatian, one of the three major gold producing areas in the world. The source of the original drug has obtained two major organic certifications at home and abroad.
″Subhash Markad, Director of Pest Control and Professional Solutions at BASF Asia Pacific, said: "Products and solutions derived from nature are becoming increasingly popular with consumers. We are proud to launch this new insecticidal AE, which gives domestic consumers a more secure and convenient choice when facing the problem of mosquitoes this summer. Basf wants to improve the quality of life at home for consumers through chemical innovation."
Pyrethrin is a pet friendly, but also a natural mosquito killer. Pyrethrin contains six insecticidal active ingredients, which mainly act on the sodium ion channel of the pest neurons, affecting the nerve pulse transmission, which leads to the movement of the pest, paralysis, and even death. In addition to mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches and so on are also effective quickly.
This insecticidal aerosol uses synergistic formulation technology, the product reaches class A efficacy, can knock down pests within one minute, insecticidal performance is excellent, and the fatality rate is 100%. Different from conventional aerosol, it also uses upgraded quantitative valve packaging to more accurately control the dosage, reduce the waste of drugs in use, and prevent the negative impact of excessive use on pets and the environment.
Pyrethrins are recognized by the organic industry, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as safe and effective pesticides.
This AE aims to provide home users with a complete set of professional pest control solutions for different pests, different environmental conditions and needs, to help users easily cope with various pest challenges.
