New world enters luxury cosmetic market formally

VIDIVICI launched the high-end series' New Order ', aiming at high-end customers in China.
On December 14, VIDIVICI, a high-end cosmetics brand owned by Shinsegae International, launched its luxury skincare series "New Order" to enter the high-end cosmetics market.
The New Order, which costs twice as much as VIDIVICI products in the past, is aimed at the recently fast-growing market for high-end cosmetics.
New world plans to use VIDIVICI to quickly develop into a high-end brand image in the Chinese market and attract Chinese customers who like high-end cosmetics.
VIDIVICI is very popular with Chinese customers and sales are expected to exceed won120bn this year, a fivefold increase from last year.
According to BNK investment securities, citing l 'oreal's survey data, in 2017, the global cosmetics market will grow by 4-5% compared with last year, while the high-end skin care market will grow by 12% compared with last year, which is expected to continue to grow with the help of the growth of Chinese tourists.
