COIM Group Expands Alkyd and Acrylic Resin Production Capacity in the Netherlands
COIM Group, a developer and manufacturer of specialty chemicals, announced the expansion of its Synres production site in Hoek van Holland, the Netherlands.
The plant, which officially opened on September 30, 2025, is a strategic step for the Group to strengthen its logistics capabilities and timely service in the Nordic market, ensuring continuous supply.
COIM has established a second production facility in the Netherlands dedicated to esterification products. Like its facility in Offanengo (CR), this is a significant step for the company, contributing to its international competitiveness.
Synres, acquired by COIM in January 2022, already specializes in the production of alkyd and acrylic resins for coatings in the wood protection and decoration, marine, automotive refinishing, ACE, and industrial sectors, and is therefore expanding its production capacity.
“We are proud to launch this new expansion, which marks a new chapter in COIM’s story. Our strategic proximity to the Nordic market, combined with our excellent geographical location, will allow us to expand our international reach and offer our partners and customers more efficient solutions, ensuring faster and better service. Our goal has always been to grow and innovate while respecting our core values,” says Luca Gianzini, Marketing and M&A Manager.
