Thailand Sets New Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Food

On May 23, 2024, Thailand's Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a notice revising the maximum residue limits (MRLs) for pesticides in food. Referencing Codex Alimentarius standards and considering the country's specific conditions, Thailand has established new MRLs for several pesticides, including pyridaphenthion, chlorantraniliprole, thiamethoxam, fluopyram, and others, in various food commodities.
