Fremman Capital acquires IBG from Albéa Group
IBG (Innovative Beauty Group) has been acquired by European private equity firm Fremman Capital. With IBG separated from former shareholder Albéa Group, IBG can further expand, develop and enhance its capabilities across a range of market segments.
Xavier Leclerc de Hauteclocque, CEO of IBG, said:"We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Albéa Group for its support and partnership over the years. In this new chapter, we look forward to building a bright future together with Fremman Capital, a partner with whom we share values and passion for people and service. As always, we will remain committed to providing exceptional beauty products and packaging solutions to our valued customers around the world."
IBG will receive the support and resources to thrive in the beauty and personal care markets, opening up new strategic opportunities. Bolstered by the recent acquisition of Roberts Beauty, IBG will continue to develop turnkey solutions for beauty brands and retailers under the Orchard Custom Beauty brand.
Olivier de Vregille, co-founder of Fremman Capital, said: "IBG is a leader in the beauty industry with a strong track record of innovation and sustainable business practices. We are excited to support IBG in its next phase of growth and to jointly drive further development of beauty and personal care products." In addition, IBG will continue to develop innovative packaging solutions under its FASTEN Packaging brand and continue to work with retailers or celebrities to develop their brands. Each of these business lines will focus on supporting IBG customers "to achieve their sustainability goals."
