According to reliable industry sources, several high-profile pharmaceutical companies experienced significant leadership changes in May.

Among them, Novartis has undergone particularly frequent internal personnel adjustments. Effective June 1st, Ms. Zhang Ying, former Novartis China President, will assume the role of Chief Commercial Officer for Novartis International Business, responsible for planning and executing the company's commercial market launch strategies. Meanwhile, Mr. Leo Lee, Novartis Japan President, will take over as China President, leading the company's operations in China. To ensure a smooth transition, Keizo Miyazawa will serve as interim Japan President.

Additionally, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has completed its leadership succession. Mr. Qi Xin, current GSK Vice President and China General Manager, has been promoted to Head of Greater China and Pan-Regional Vaccines Business, assuming more strategic responsibilities. Mr. Yu Hui-ming will replace Mr. Qi as China General Manager, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the China market. Notably, Mr. Gu Hao, GSK's Human Resources Director, will leave the company, and we express our sincere gratitude for his contributions during his tenure. Meanwhile, United Imaging Medical announced that its financial director and chief financial officer, Mr. TAOCAI, has submitted a resignation application, and the company respects and accepts his decision. Mr. JIANBAO WANG will take over as chief financial officer, responsible for the company's financial management and capital operation work.

GreenLeaf Pharmaceutical also made an important personnel appointment, appointing Ms. YI LIANG as chief operating officer, responsible for coordinating the group's strategic development and other important affairs to drive the company's sustainable development and business innovation.
In summary, major pharmaceutical companies are gradually making adjustments and optimizations in their management, which may be closely related to the business development needs and globalization strategic layout of the companies. We will continue to keep a close eye on the situation and report any subsequent personnel changes in a timely manner to provide accurate and up-to-date information for the industry.
