Dow-Mitsui Polychemicals Receives ISCC PLUS Certification
Dow-Mitsui Polychemicals Chiba Plant has been certified under the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS System.
The ISCC PLUS System is a certification system that ensures that sustainable raw materials such as biomass are properly managed in the supply chain. The certification mainly covers biomass and renewable energy raw materials and products sold globally.
The certification enables Dow Mitsui Polychemicals to produce and sell ISCC PLUS certified products in which biomass and renewable raw materials are allocated in a mass-balanced manner.
The products eligible for the ISCC PLUS certification are Mirason and Evaflex, low-density polyethylene, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer. The product launch date will be announced later.
