PPG launches sustainable marketing concept for architectural coatings in EMEA
PPG announced the launch of TOMORROW INCLUDED® sustainable marketing concept for its architectural coatings (AC) business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The concept is designed to highlight the sustainability benefits of many of PPG's architectural products. It is a way to communicate the company's sustainability story to customers.
The "TOMORROW INCLUDED®" concept will be phased in over the next few months across PPG's TIKKURILA®, BECKERS™, SIGMA®, JOHNSTONE'S® and ALCRO® brands. The sustainability benefits of durability, energy savings, safety, carbon reduction and recyclability will be reflected in product packaging and marketing materials. Marketing materials include advertising, websites and social media.
Svea Paju, brand marketing director, PPG AC EMEA North and East, said: "At PPG, sustainability is integrated into everything we do - how we innovate, operate and go to market. Our commitment to sustainability enables us to guide our customers to choose the right product solutions that meet their sustainability goals. Sustainability is becoming a qualification for doing business in many parts of the world. This is not only a key topic for customers, but also for various stakeholders such as investors, employees, potential employees and suppliers. We believe this concept will help our customers make more informed choices."
PPG recently released its 2023 ESG report. The report shows that the company has made great progress in achieving its 2030 environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals. These include increasing sales of sustainable advantage solutions and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the company's own operations and value chain.
