Bergman & Beving acquires protective coatings supplier Spraylat International
Bergman & Beving acquires all shares in Spraylat International. The company manufactures and sells temporary protective coatings for windows in new and renovated buildings.
Spraylat generates half of its turnover in the UK, where it is the market leader, and the rest of its sales worldwide. The company, based in Corby, has a turnover of around €30 billion and good profitability.
“Spraylat is a niche player in the UK market. With high technical knowledge, mature products and good market conditions, we see good opportunities for the company to grow,” said Mats Gullbrandsson, head of Division Core Solutions.
“We have a good feeling about Bergman & Beving as a new owner. We want to benefit from the group’s experience to grow the company, while we are happy to continue operating the company as an independent unit,” said CEO Andrew Keir.
Spraylat will become part of Division Core Solutions with immediate effect. The acquisition is expected to have a slightly positive impact on Bergman & Beving’s earnings per share in the current financial year.
