Introducing Sherwin-Williams Accelera One: Redefining the Standard in Decorative Flooring Systems
Sherwin-williams High Performance Flooring is proud to introduce Accelera One, a revolutionary coating technology that redefines the standard for decorative scale and quartz flooring systems. Designed to meet the most demanding requirements of commercial and institutional environments, its unique combination of polyurethane chemical transparent grout and finish offers superior performance, easy application processes and industry-leading chemical resistance.
Accelera One, as a coating with a very high solids content, has a fast curing characteristic that makes it easy to complete two coats in one day, greatly increasing installation efficiency and providing a longer working time window for construction crews. Its excellent resistance to chemicals and disinfectants makes it ideal for highly sensitive environments such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences and healthcare facilities, balancing functionality with aesthetics.
Casey Ball, Global Marketing Director, Sherwin-Williams High Performance Flooring, is proud: "As a breakthrough innovation in ultra-high solid polymer chemistry, Accelera One not only simplifies the floor installation process, but also ensures lasting protection and elegant appearance in the most extreme environments. This demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with high-performance solutions to meet their changing needs."
Accelera One's core strengths cover a number of areas:
Fast curing and efficient operation: At normal ambient temperatures, Accelera One provides an additional 20 minutes of application time while maintaining a very fast curing speed - with an application thickness of 8 mi, the flow of people can be restored in just two hours, quickly returning the facility to normal operation.
Easy application: With innovative scraper and rollback technology, combined with sufficient operating time and flexible recoating window (2 to 48 hours), the common stress of installing fast curing products is greatly reduced.
Adjustable curing time: Flexible adjustment of curing time according to environmental conditions to meet different construction needs.
Environmentally friendly and efficient: With less than 50 grams of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) per liter, it meets North American Environmental Protection Agency standards and does not contain "red List" chemicals, achieving the perfect combination of high performance and environmental protection.
Excellent chemical resistance: Excellent performance against a wide range of harsh chemicals and biopharmaceutical disinfectants, while indoor UV stability ensures excellent performance for long-term use.
Accelera One is designed for the dual use of grout and topcoat flooring systems, offers a clear gloss finish and is available in 2 -, 10 - or 50-gallon packages. The product can be easily integrated into any Shandwick panel or quartz flooring system and is presented as a perfect combination of clear grout and finish in the following eight new systems:
