SHINEYOMEDICAL Completes Nearly 100 Million Yuan Series A+ Financing, Accelerating the Commercialization of Innovative Products
As a start-up founded only four years ago, SHINEYOMEDICAL has made remarkable achievements in the field of cardiac electrophysiology and peripheral vascular intervention. Today, the company announced the successful completion of nearly RMB 100 million A+ round of financing, led by Guangzhou Financial Holding Fund, with the participation of a number of well-known investment institutions.
The funding will mainly be used to strengthen the company's commercialization team, accelerate the operation of the production site, and promote the development and clinical trials of more innovative products. SHINEYOMEDICAL's two core products, Rhythpulse®, a cardiac pulsed electric field ablation system, and VariSeal®, a vein closure system, have respectively entered the review stage of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
The rapid advancement of these innovative products is due to SHINEYOMEDICAL's years of technological accumulation in the fields of electrophysiology and vascular intervention. With self-developed active devices, interventional catheters and biomaterials platforms, SHINEYOMEDICAL is committed to providing differentiated, value-leading minimally invasive solutions to doctors and patients.
Cardiac electrophysiology is a key medical field in the study and treatment of arrhythmia. It mainly involves the measurement and analysis of the electrophysiological activity of the heart to diagnose and treat various arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, etc. Common medical devices related to cardiac electrophysiology include 3D mapping systems, ablators, stimulators, and various consumable catheters. In recent years, pulsed electric field ablation technology, as an innovative energy ablation method, has attracted wide attention.
Peripheral vascular intervention mainly targets vascular diseases in other parts of the body such as limbs, neck and abdomen, such as arteriosclerosis and varicose veins. Relevant medical devices include stents, catheters, balloons, etc. For the treatment of varicose veins, in recent years, there have been some innovative minimally invasive therapies, such as the technology of using bioadhesive to complete vein closure. These emerging technologies have significantly improved treatment outcomes and reduced patient recovery time.
It can be seen that these two areas are the current hot spots of medical device innovation, not only involving cutting-edge technology, but also broad market prospects. Companies such as SHINEYOMEDICAL can make breakthroughs in these areas, it is not easy and worthy of affirmation.
There is no doubt that SHINEYOMEDICAL is poised to become a leader in the field of electrophysiology and peripheral vascular intervention in China. As more products are approved for market, it is believed that in the near future, this new company will make breakthroughs in clinical application level and benefit more patients.
