Omya Expands Distribution Relationship with TIB Chemicals
Omya announces a distribution agreement with TIB Chemicals Corporation in the United States.
Effective August 1, 2024, Omya will represent TIB Chemicals Corporation as the exclusive distributor of its organotin and tin-free catalyst product lines in the CASE market. TIB Chemicals’ catalysts are used in a variety of CASE applications, utilizing polyurethanes, silicones, and silane-terminated chemistries that are synergistic with Omyabond, calcium carbonate, and other specialty chemicals distributed.
Omya Specialty Materials distributes products from more than 20 warehouses in North America and will offer TIB Chemicals’ catalysts from multiple warehouses throughout the United States.
“Omya has a significant presence in the CASE market with multiple laboratories to support our customers and suppliers. The addition of TIB Chemicals’ product lines fits well with our strategy as a solutions provider and provides another opportunity for us to serve our customers with our technical expertise,” said Tim Streb, Omya’s Director of North American Distribution Services.
