Brenntag Specialties Signs Distribution Agreement for Cosmetic Formulations with Capsoil Technologies in the U.S.
Brennetag, a global market leader in the distribution of chemicals and ingredients, announces a U.S. distribution agreement with Capsoil Technologies, an Israel-based technology company that uses advanced patented technology to transform lipophilic and hydrophilic active ingredients into water-soluble powders.
Brennetag Specialties will now offer customers innovative product lines including self-emulsifying powders of natural oils and liposomal powders of active ingredients, using Capsoil’s patented technology. Capsoil’s special ingredients are enriched with up to 50% oil, enabling excellent oil dispersion in aqueous formulations and significantly enhanced skin absorption.
Maia Navarrete, Senior Director, Personal Care Americas, Brenntag Specialties, said: “This agreement with Capsoil is a testament to Brenntag Specialties’ commitment to developing sustainable innovations in the beauty and personal care space and to expanding its innovative portfolio for our customers. Capsoil’s technology enables our customers to make the impossible possible by delivering water-sensitive and difficult-to-stabilize oils and active ingredients in a sugar-based powder that easily disperses into a stable emulsion at the consumer level.”
Matthew Bronfman, CEO, Capsoil Global, added: “Capsoil’s technology is designed to disrupt the way cosmetics are formulated and applied. Our vision is to drive a new era of cosmetic innovation globally through technology. We are honored to work with Brenntag to achieve these goals while upholding shared eco-values.”
