Cosmewax increases production capacity with new plant
Cosmewax, the Spanish manufacturer of skin care and hair removal products, continues to expand and has just invested 11 million euros to build a new factory in Puzol, Valencia, Spain. The new factory covers an area of 5,100 square meters and will be officially put into use in November. It will increase Cosmewax's skin care product production capacity by 50%.
The new factory will be equipped with cutting-edge technology and meet the highest quality and sustainability standards, including a photovoltaic installation for self-use energy.
Cosmewax said that its turnover was 40 million euros by 2023, an increase of 16.7% over the previous year. 98% of the company's sales come from exports to foreign customers, including well-known brands in the industry such as Boots, Superdrug, Rossman, Oriflame or Yves Rocher.
The growth strategy mainly involves expanding the product offering and entering new international markets. "These initiatives, combined with more effective marketing campaigns and improvements in production processes, have resulted in an increased ability to respond to growing global demand," Cosmewax added in a statement.
Cosmewax's corporate social responsibility policy was also awarded a platinum seal by EcoVadis, which ranked Cosmewax among the top 1% of companies worldwide in terms of performance levels in areas such as environmental impact, labor and human rights, fair business practices, ethics and sustainable sourcing.
