Medicos acquires Dinamic Emballages to expand its business scope
Following its strategy of dual growth in the beauty and food sectors, Lyon-based Groupe Medicos has acquired 100% of the shares of Dinamic Emballages, headquartered in Rombach-le-Franc, France.
Founded in 1984, Dinamic Emballages is a plastics manufacturer specializing in the production of single- and dual-material injection molded parts and technical parts for the beauty, food and pharmaceutical industries, using highly automated processes. Standard products account for more than 40% of the company's net sales.
With four production sites in Europe, including Lyon, Isernoel and Chassar in France and Milan in Italy, the Medicos Group is an industrial enterprise specializing in the design and manufacture of plastic injection molded products and drawn glass processing.
“This diversification and opening up to new business areas allows us to deploy our skills more widely on the market. Our four production subsidiaries stand out for their humanization, responsiveness and diversity of activities, including plastic injection molding, tubular glazing, automation, IML, screen printing, pad printing, hot stamping, painting,” Medicos said in a statement.
With the acquisition of Dinamic Emballages, the group’s turnover will exceed 40 million euros, of which more than 50% will come from exports on five continents.
“Our growth has been achieved through organic development as well as the acquisition of companies that offer unique skills,” Medicos stressed.
