To address various eye contour issues, Mibelle Biochemistry has developed VividEYE, a new active ingredient based on organic apple mint leaves. In vitro and in vivo tests have shown that it effectively increases eye brightness and reduces eye bags. Mibelle's latest innovation promises to alleviate aesthetic issues of the eye contour! The product is called VividEYE and is derived from organic apple mint leaves.

"Dark circles and eye bags affect appearance and emotional well-being and are often a sign of fatigue or premature aging. Dark circles are mainly caused by increased vascular permeability leading to blood accumulation and melanin deposition, and they are exacerbated with age, thinning skin and more noticeable discoloration. Eye bags are caused by the weakening of delicate eye tissues and a malfunctioning lymphatic system, which leads to fluid accumulation, resulting in puffiness," explains the Swiss company.

To address these eye problems, Mibelle Biochemistry has developed a holistic solution based on apple mint ( Mentha suaveolens ), or hairy mint, a special member of the mint genus characterized by hairy leaves and stems.

Unlike many other types of mint, apple mint does not contain menthol. Instead, its flavor has a unique, mild green apple flavor. Apple mint plays an important role in traditional Mediterranean medicine because of its wide range of therapeutic benefits.

According to Mibelle Biochemistry, in vitro tests have shown that VividEYE reduces vascular leakage and increases lymphatic vessel formation, which improves fluid drainage and thus strengthens the vascular network. In addition, VividEYE effectively acts on skin cells, not only reducing melanin production, but also strengthening the skin barrier and preventing skin thinning. Finally, data also showed that this new active ingredient inhibits the formation of melanin.

Clinical studies have shown that VividEYE reduces the volume of eye bags and eliminates dark circles. Studies have also shown that it increases brightness in the undereye area.
