Toagosei to establish Indian subsidiary in March 2025
Japanese chemical company Toagosei announced that it will establish a local legal entity "Toagosei India" in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The company will invest 250 million yen to establish the legal person.
Toagosei Group is principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of general chemicals, polymers and oligomers, adhesive materials, performance chemicals and plastics.
The decision was made to establish a local subsidiary in India, the world's most populous country, which is expected to experience significant economic growth in the future and become a major market for materials for the IT and automotive industries.
The decision is aimed at further expanding the business by promoting sales of Toagosei products in India and neighboring countries, as well as taking advantage of favorable raw material procurement.
