Hisense Invents Eco-friendly Coating, Reducing Costs and Extending Lifespan!
According to information released by the National Intellectual Property Administration on January 7, 2025, Hisense (Guangdong) Kitchen and Bathroom System Co., Ltd. submitted a patent application titled "An Eco-friendly Coating and Its Spraying Method" in September 2024, with the publication number CN 119242128 A.
The abstract of this patent reveals an invention of an eco-friendly coating and its spraying method. This eco-friendly coating consists of specific weight parts of raw materials, including bio-based resins and fillers. The fillers are composed of organic and inorganic fillers with a mass ratio of 9:1 to 1:9, which helps improve the melting level fluidity of the coating, making film formation easier. Additionally, this coating exhibits excellent comprehensive performance in terms of coating appearance, gloss, impact strength, and pencil hardness. The composite filler consists of biomass lignin, cellulose, and inorganic fillers, which can enhance the mechanical strength, processing properties, surface tension, and permeability of the coating film, improving the adhesion of the coating. Meanwhile, this composite filler helps with the dispersion of other fillers in the coating and provides stability to the medium, offering protective functions. The use of the fillers from this invention can reduce the amount of resin required, lower production costs, prevent cracking, and block UV rays and moisture, thus extending the lifespan of the paint film.
