Elementis Price Increase Effective January 15, 2025
Elementis recently issued an official announcement stating that it will adjust the prices of its Performance Specialties products effective January 15, 2025. The primary reason for this price adjustment is the increase in operating costs due to inflation, including rises in production and logistics expenses. Although Elementis has taken various measures to reduce costs, the company still needs to adjust product prices to maintain business sustainability in the face of ongoing inflationary pressures. Therefore, starting from January 15, 2025, Elementis will increase the prices of its products sold in North America.
The announcement did not provide specific details on the extent of the price increase. Elementis also emphasized that despite the price adjustments, the company remains committed to providing high-quality products to distributors and end customers and will continue to value the valuable business relationships established with partners.
It is expected that Elementis will also make corresponding price adjustments for products in the Chinese market in the near future, especially concerning products imported from abroad.
