Recently, Hempel, a world-renowned paint manufacturer, signed an agreement to acquire Farrow & Ball, a high-end decorative paint and wallpaper brand with an annual turnover of more than 100 million euros.
"Farrow & Ball is an iconic brand of high-end decorative paints and wallpapers. Relying on Hempel's strong global influence and long-term trade reputation, we intend to develop and expand Farrow & Ball on a global scale.
"Farrow & Ball and Haihong Elderly Group share the same principles of sustainable development. As part of Hempel Group, we look forward to pushing our growth journey to a new high. At the same time, as part of Haihong Elderly Group, we are very excited. We can expand our brand to new markets through Hempel Senior's strong global distribution network and long-term trade relations." Farrow & Ball CEO Anthony Davey said.
On May 11, Hempel announced that it agreed to acquire Farrow & Ball from the private equity group of Ares Management Corporation, a leading global alternative asset management company. The transaction requires the customary approval of the authorities and is expected to be completed in the second half of 2021.
