Kuraray to Launch World’s First 100 Percent Bio Based EVOH Product in 2025
Kuraray, the Japanese chemical giant, has announced the global debut of Circular Eval, the world’s first 100% bio-based EVOH (ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer) product. Scheduled for release in 2025, this innovative material represents a major breakthrough in sustainable development for EVOH applications.
Produced at EVAL Europe in Antwerp, Belgium, Circular Eval is made entirely from renewable biomass feedstocks, offering an eco-friendly alternative to traditional materials without compromising performance. This launch underlines Kuraray’s commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in the specialty chemicals sector.
