DFD Nanotech Subsidiary Raises 100 Million Yuan Strategic Investors Acquire 4.55 Percent Stake
On June 10, DFD Nanotech announced that its subsidiary, Shenzhen DFD New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (DFD New Energy), has secured 100 million yuan through a capital increase from three strategic investors: Guoxin Capital, Chengdu Industry Investment Fund, and Tianfu Xinyun Digital Economy Development Fund.
The investment involves the subscription of 435.57 million yuan in newly issued registered capital, giving the investors a 4.55% stake on a fully diluted basis after the transaction. Following the capital infusion, DFD Nanotech’s ownership in DFD New Energy will drop to 42.84%, but the company will retain control over the subsidiary by appointing two out of three board members and continuing full consolidation in its financial statements.
This strategic infusion highlights the growing interest in advanced manufacturing and clean energy technologies, as DFD New Energy positions itself for further expansion in the new energy sector.
