Ireland rejected the entry of jasmine tea (2025.4774) containing multiple pesticide residues, including acetamiprid (0.16 mg/kg) and buprofezin (0.039 mg/kg), surpassing the maximum residue limit of 0.01 mg/kg. The product was officially detained and removed from the market.

Matcha Powder with Excessive Pesticide Residues
Sweden reported matcha powder (2025.4777) with high levels of various pesticides, such as imidacloprid (1.6 mg/kg) and tebuconazole (1.8 mg/kg). The product has not been released to the market and was either returned or destroyed.
