According to the commodity market analysis system, the price of isopropanol in China decreased this week. At the beginning of the week, the average price of isopropanol in China was 5883.33 CNY/ton, and by the end of the week, it had decreased to 5783.33 CNY/ton, a reduction of 1.7%.
This week, the isopropanol market price in China has decreased. The price of the upstream raw material, acetone, has also decreased, providing limited support to isopropanol. Additionally, the overall market situation for isopropanol is sluggish, with weak demand and a strong wait-and-see attitude among market participants. Trading activities are cautious, and the actual transaction volume is low. As of now, most quotations for isopropanol in the Shandong region are around 5650-5700 CNY/ton, while in the Jiangsu region, they are around 5800 CNY/ton.
Future Market Forecast
The isopropanol analyst from the Chemical Division believes that this week, the market price of isopropanol has fallen, with limited cost support. Overall trading in the downstream market remains sluggish, and actual transactions are cautious. It is expected that the isopropanol market will mainly adopt a wait-and-see approach in the short term, maintaining weak stability.
