August 19 News
According to the commodity market analysis system: Since mid-August, with bearish factors still present, the adipic acid market in China has weakened, mainly showing a downward trend. Negative factors dominate as China's adipic acid market weakens.
In mid-August, the prices of raw materials for adipic acid, such as pure benzene and cyclohexanone, fell weakly. The rigid demand from the end market was low, and the trading volume in China's adipic acid market was moderate, with acceptable sales. The quotations from adipic acid manufacturers remained relatively stable, while those from traders mainly declined. The market trend was weak. By August 19, the price had dropped to 7,200 CNY/ton, with a price decrease of nearly 0.5%.
Adipic acid analysts believe that by the end of August, overall demand in the terminal industries is weak, and the raw material market is showing a downward trend. The future market for adipic acid is expected to continue on a weak downward trend.
