Strides Pharma Reports Strong Q2 as Net Profit Surges 82%

ECHEMI 2025-11-02

Strides Pharma Science posted a sharp improvement in quarterly earnings, reporting that net profit rose 82% year-on-year to ₹131.5 crore in Q2 FY25, supported by robust U.S. business performance and margin expansion. Revenue grew 15% to ₹1,193 crore, driven by continued growth in regulated markets and improved product mix. The U.S. segment recorded 22% growth, supported by new launches and higher market share in key therapy areas, while the institutional business also contributed to revenue gains. The company reported an EBITDA margin of 20.3%, compared with 16.7% a year earlier, reflecting more favourable pricing and operational efficiencies. Management said the company remained focused on expanding its U.S. pipeline, strengthening its branded portfolio across emerging markets and scaling high-margin businesses. Strides reiterated confidence in sustaining double-digit growth, supported by steady launches and the monetisation of niche products in the quarters ahead.
