Men are more likely than women to really see makeup as fun.

A stereotype is that men who know how to take care of their skin and make up are not enough for man. However, compared with those greasy words and deeds which "regard untrimmed appearance as man", they are more considerate and respectful to themselves as a little facial management. Arrived at Akerry as early as possible, leading the handicapped party makeup blogger, it is not unusual for men to make up. Recently, a Yougov survey found that 5% of British men today make up for themselves, not including others. In addition, a detailed comparative survey was conducted on the makeup of men and women. A total of 299 British men and 2264 British women aged 18-55 or older were surveyed. Here are some interesting findings from his survey.

Some women go to the gym with makeup exercise, and young women are most likely to do so: 25% of women aged 18-24, 22% of women aged 25-34, 18% of women aged 35-44, and even more than half of them will specially wear makeup for sportswear. Rong. Men did not (0%).

But it can't rule out that there is a self-recording party disguised as fitness. If it comes true, we still want to sincerely say that this is not healthy.

Nowadays, people make up more than just to please oneself. The survey found that nearly half (41%) of women make up when they are alone, such as at home, while 49% of 18-24-year-olds and 52% of 25-34-year-olds do so, while the proportion of men who make up do so is higher than that of men. The number of young people aged between 18 and 24 also rises to one-tenth.

The survey found that British women are more likely to choose makeup when their friends go out at night (84%) than during the day (73%), while 74% think they need makeup when dating, and one third of them (31%) choose to make-up at work to make themselves look more professional. This phenomenon is also more common among young women in the workplace: More than half (55%) of women aged 25 to 34 make up at work.

Men are more likely to attend important occasions because they need to wear their own clothes. In the survey, 15% of men said they had made up for dressing up to attend an event. Only 1% of men need makeup to make themselves look more professional at work (non-special occupational needs, such as excluding men who are models or TV presenters).

Women mostly mentioned that they wanted to look better in special occasions (78%) or to be more confident (63%). In addition to self-confidence, women are more likely to say that they use cosmetics to cover up some of their facial defects (47%) or just out of habit (26%). Only one in five women think that cosmetics are a way to express their personality and creativity (21%) or are really interested in cosmetics (19%).
